Career Institute of Medical and Dental Sciences and Hospital was founded in 2001 at Lucknow under affiliation of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. The college is managed by Convent Educational and Charitable Trust. The college-affiliated hospital is one of the future super-specialty hospitals in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, which is adequately equipped to handle wide range of medical conditions, diseases, injuries and emergencies. The medical college work to train, tutor, and prepare outstanding, competent, sensible, socially and professionally responsible physicians.
Admission Procedure of the Medical College
The institution is famous for the courses of Bachelor of Dental Surgery and MBBS. Both the courses are for five years. Career Institute of Medical and Dental Sciences and Hospital has the guideline for the number of the students to be admitted to each course annually, 100 students. The courses are accredited by the Dental Council of India or DCI, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Uttar Pradesh Government. A student is chosen by their academic history and achievements. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in the higher secondary examination and NEET Qualification to apply for admission to undergraduate medical courses.

Career Institute of Medical and Dental Sciences and Hospital provides a scientific basis, developmental stage, function and anatomy, and intensive clinical experience to its students. The courses give information on other clinical specialties and techniques that allow for the diagnostic and therapeutic management process. Career Institute of Medical Sciences has a strong association with a 585bedded hospital, from which treatment, academic training, clinical procedures are conducted in the fields of Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics Gynecology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy and Pulmonary Medicine. The college diagnostic laboratories, labour rooms, critical and intensive care wards, operation theatres have super-specialized technical equipment and machines such as USG, CT-scan, MRI, C-Arm, Spiro-meter, Ultra Sound Scanner, portable X-ray (300mA to 60mA ADONIS), Digital Color Doppler computerized ECG, dialysis unit etc. The provision of college canteen, library, lecture hall, examination hall, cafeteria, auditorium, common room, playground, bank, telecommunication and other facilities to the students contribute immensely to their educational experience.
