Medical sciences courses are being offered to students both in India as well as abroad by Divya Jyoti Institute of Medical Sciences Research. It is under the affiliation of Chaudhary Chauhan Singh University and located at Gaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is approved by the National Medical Commission. The college offers a variety of medical courses in various modalities of the subject and can be divided into departments namely preclinical department, para-clinical department and clinical department. MBBS is conducted at this college which is 5.5 years long and in which last year is internship year. There are 150 seats in MBBS.
Features of the Hospital
A 300 bedded super specialty hospital is linked to this medical college. There is a blood bank attached to this college. The present hospital offers specific care for the resident population of the immediate area. 24 hours a day emergency facility, outpatient unit, and all trained medical officer, paramedical staff and nursing staff are available to render good services for the rural masses. The campus distance is within 6 km, and the college has established a rural health center around the campus, which provides medical care, especially to the surrounding area.
Eligibility for Enrollment
The college has air conditioned lecture halls those are fitted with audio visual aids, to impart knowledge in an innovative way. Students will require a minimum of 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in the higher secondary examination and NEET qualified to apply for admission into the undergraduate medical course holdings. Pupils must be at least 17 years old by the 31st December of the previous year in which they have applied for admission. They also have to qualify the Combined Medical Entrance Test, conducted by the government of U.P for seeking admission to this course.
Fee and Facilities
In a year, you need to pay Rs. 2,04,000 / year as the course fee. The college contains various facilities that allow students to live comfortably and study there. Library maintains a large amount of books, journal papers, computer laboratories, students can further their knowledge. Students are provided with free medical facilities.
Accommodation and Transportation
There are boy’s and girl’s hostels, and 24 hours security arrangements are provided. Because the collegews own fleets of buses, the students can travel conveniently. There are many facilities for student recreation at the college. They are also in a position to play various games and exercises.
