Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical School was established in 2003 in Ambala, Haryana, India. It is affiliated to Maharishi Markandeshwar University and is run by a trust under the same name. Approved by the National Medical Council. The college offers undergraduate and advanced courses in medical science. The duration of the MBBS course is five and a half years. After completing four and a half years of study, it is compulsory for students to work in Goa under the year. The MBBS course is accredited by the Ministry of Family Health and Welfare, the institute is allowed to enroll only 150 students per year.

Students must qualify in the high school examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board. English is also required to be a compulsory subject in high school. Students must score well in the Pre medical test conducted by the State of Harayana for admission to this course. A student’s marks and qualifications play an important role in admission.

Fees and Facilities

MBBS course fee is around Rs. 1,500,000 per annum. The medical college and hospital are well below private colleges in the country. The central library of the college has an extensive collection of books and materials that facilitate the learning process of the students. E-books and resources can also be used as the library has a large collection. Students are offered free medical check-ups at the clinic and can also use the various fitness and sports facilities on campus. There are also separate dormitories for boys and girls.
