Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Medical College, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, was established in 1990 for offering quality medical education, research and training facilities to medical practitioners. It was the vision of the medical institute and the hospital to deliver timely, quality, and inexpensive healthcare and services. The unit is a Constituent Unit of MGM Institute of Health Sciences having been endowed with Deemed University status by UGC. Different medical degree and diploma courses are recognized by the National Medical Commission or NMC and World Health Organization or WHO. The institute is equipped with the prestigious ISO certification and one of the top 30 medical institutions in India.

Admission Procedure of the Medical College
The college possesses a good reputation in the teaching of courses including various specializations in Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Forensic Medicine, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, and Psychiatry, etc. Admission to 5 and a half year’s MBBS course along with one year internship is made on the basis of the students’ previous academic records and MGM Common Entrance Test (CET) result. One must obtain minimum 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and qualified in NEET to be eligible for the undergraduate medical courses. Scholorship is granted to the achievers on the basis of their academic past and MGM CET performance. The lower age limit of undergraduate medical learners is 17 years old on or before the year they apply. NMC is allowing the college a maximum of 100 students per year in MBBS programmes. 15% of seats are reserved for NRI or NRI sponsored and foreign nationals.
